"Looking Beyond" is a commissioned piece for an entry to a front deck, of a renovated home in Brisbane. It was designed in unison with "Looking Out" the front entry statement piece which takes inspiration from a leadlight peephole window in the lovely old front door. My clients reflected with sadness on a story of a Stenocarpus Sinuatus tree (Firewheel ) being removed from the neighborhood. Looking Beyond depicts a deconstructed Firewheel flower with the diamond like pattern from the peephole superimposed.
